The International Prize Renk Moricard

Twenty specialists gathered in Paris, under the chairmanship of Professor R. Vokaer, conferred a prize of 100,000

Belgian francs upon the authors of a major contribution to t’-e problem of cancer of the uterine cervix. The prize, founded by the friends of RenC Moricard, is n honor of the famous specialist who made a lifelong

study of cancerous and precancerous lesions of the uterine cervix. It was conferred upon Dr. Albert Singer (Sheffield, U.K.) and Bevan I,. Reid (Sydney, Australia) for their work ‘The initial stages of cancer of the uterine

lllrd Reinier de Graaf Symposium on NON-LUTEAL OVARIAN FUNCTION

The IIIrd Reinier de Graaf Symposium will be held 4-6 September 1978 in Maastricht, one of the oldest towns but the site of the youngest Medical Faculty in The Netherlands. It will be dedicated to:

(a) Ovarian follicular morphology and function from intrauterine life until the onset of puberty. (b) Non-luteal ovarian morphology and function during the period of reproductive capacity.

(c) Ovarian morphology and function after reproductive age. The Reinier de Graaf lecture will be delivered by Dr. Hannah Peters (Copenhagen).
