Gynecological Microsurgery: A Practical Course. Leuven, Belgium, June 30 to July 3, 1980.
For the third time a 4-day international workshop, primarily for gynecologists inter- ested in the surgery of infertility and scientific workers in the field of reproduction, will be held at the University of Leuven, Belgium.
The course will be devoted to teaching microsurgical principles of tissue handling and repair of fallopian tube and ovary. Practical demonstrations of experimental animal work and human surgery will be combined with discussions concerned with instrumentation and technical problems. The main emphasis will be on teaching the manual skills required, and participants will be encouraged to use the microscope under laboratory conditions. In view of the fact that a degree of individual teaching will be required, places on this course are strictly limited and early application is advised.
