From the National Archives, I was able to find this primary source. It is a photo of many

people lined up to collect their portion of humanitarian aid offered by MSF. This photo

was taken in Kandhar, Afghanistan and shows the extensive amount of people MSF

reaches out to.

From the Tech Times, I was able to find a poster that shows how MSF ebola treatment

centers function. It shows the different steps MSF patients go through before being

released. It provides information on how patients will be treated and cared for through

their difficult journey.

This primary source features many photos of MSF doctors working in the field and it also

states MSF`s main purpose: to help people regardless of race, gender, religion, or

political interests. It also has moving photos so it is interesting to look at. This allows it to

be the perfect photo for my website. It will make my website more appealing and fun to

look at. 

Ewing, Dr. Shannon. Telephone interview by Maria Lakdawala. 3 Dec. 2014.

Shannon Ewing has worked with Doctors Withouts Border, She working in Haiti after an

earthquake in 2010 an was given the job of helping the doctors manage all the staff. From

her experiences and information, I was able to learn about what life in the field is like

first-hand and people`s views on the leadership and legacy of MSF.

who have less. From this source, I can understand how donators want to help people who

are currently suffering from diseases around the world.

This website contains the experience of a lady named Rachel who returned to Rwanda 20

years after helping during the Rwanda genocide. In this primary source, she tells about

the great improvements she saw. I am able to understand the great affect of MSF`s help

from this source.

strong relationship MSF works have with the people they help. This photo is from the

doctors without borders website and is showing the life doctors have in the field.

This video presents the core values of MSF, how they came to be, and how they are being

shown by MSF workers all across the globe. It is a primary source with videos from out

in the field and also has opinions from participants of MSF. The information provided

shows the what MSF believes and what they hope to achieve.

This is an interview I conducted of Munira E Olia. SHe has worked with MSF in many

different countries. She provided me with insight on what life in the field is like and what

the core values of MSF are.

Orbinski, James. "Nobel Lecture." The Nobel Peace Prize 1999. Oslo, Norway. 10 Dec. 1999.

Lecture.

This primary source is the lecture Dr. James Orbinski, former president of MSF, gave

when awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. It details the values of MSF, what they hep to

achieve, and what they are already doing. Dr. Orbinski also spoke out in this lecture

about groups in the world that deserved our attention. I was able to understand, MSF`s

strong beliefs and perseverance through his words.

This primary source is the speech given by Francis Sejersted that explained why MSF

was being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.The information provided tells of MSF`s

commitment and determination towards their goal of helping all people regardless of the

location.

Thiedke, Caroline. Interview by Linda Austin. N.d.

This interview provides a first-hand account of the experience with Doctors Without

Borders. In it, guest Dr. Caroline Thiedke talks about her time in Milawi. From

this source, I was able to understand the effect of MSF from a doctor`s point of view. She

gives important information about her time there and what she did out in the field.

This primary source from the website tells about the workers who help in MSF. It details

the large amount of people who help every year and their commitment to the job. MSF

affects other people and makes them want to help this humanitarian cause and the people

suffering all around the world.

this photo, I am truly able to understand, the hard work MSF employees put into treating

their patients and the amazing result they receive.

It includes a large amount of information on what MSF has treated, supplies MSF has

given, and who MSF has helped. From this secondary source, I was able to truly

understand the enormous impact MSF has all over the world.

others over the years.

Bernard Kouchner.

This source gives a quick summary on Doctors Without Borders. It provides the main

goal of MSF and how it was started. Also listed are some statistics about the organization

and awards it has won. Although it is a secondary source, it helps by a providing a quick

background on the association.

it tells about the qualities of both leaders and how they have helped the organization as a

whole.

This article from a newspaper tells about how the government officials of Sierra Leone

secondary source, it provides information about the relationship between the government

and MSF.

grueling tasks under almost impossible conditions. From this source, I can understand the

determination of MSF workers in curing their suffering patients.

about the situation of the people in these poor countries.

together. The information provided shows how governments have begun to work with

MSF in hopes of saving lives.

programs. From this image, I can understand that MSF has helped millions of patents

worldwide overcome their disease. The information provided helps to show where MSF

is making a difference.

who have worked with the organization. This secondary source supplied me information

about some people who worked with MSF and their experiences while in it. The book

gave detailed background on their life and the work they have done with the group.

This is a secondary source that includes several primary sources. It is a newspaper which

consists of an article talking about MSF`s affect in Somaliland. The article tells about a

patient whose daughter`s life was saved by the MSF doctors. It show MSF`s effect on its

patients.
