He was addressing the Indian business and community event at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre in the South East Asian country today. The Prime Minister said, Indian community has become part of Singapore's progress. He said, when India opened up to the world and turned to the East, Singapore became a partner and a bridge between India and ASEAN. He said, the success of Singapore lies in its multi- cultural society. Shri Modi said, relations between Indian diaspora in Singapore represents diversity of India: PM Narendra Modi India and Singapore are among the warmest and closest. He described it as a natural partnership from a shared vision. He said, defence relation between the two countries are strongest, for both. The Prime Minister said, in India, the present situation is changing rapidly and a new India is taking shape. He said, rapid growth is taking place in the Infrastructure sector. Earlier, Shri Modi inaugurated the India- Singapore Enterprise and Innovation Exhibition at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. Thirty companies from India and Singapore are taking part in the day-long event that displays products related to health care, digital p a y m e n t s , pharmaceuticals and manufacturing. The exhibition of start-ups and innovations was organised by Indian High Commission in Singapore. The Prime Minister also witnessed a dance and yoga presentation. The performance titled "Anushasanam" depicted the benefits of the practice of yoga. New Delhi, May 31 The Government is for the first time issuing guidelines for Adventure Tourism in India. These guidelines have been launched by the Tourism Minister K. J. Alphons in New Delhi today. The guidelines on Safety and Quality Norms for Adventure Tourism in India have been formulated along with the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India. In an effort to make adventure sports safer, the set of guidelines list out the basic minimum standards required for adventure tourism activities in India. Adventure tourism has grown rapidly over the past few years playing a vital role in the economic growth of India as well as attracting a large number of travellers from across the globe to the country. The aim of this initiative is to help adventure tour operators understand and execute safety guidelines in a better manner. These guidelines cover land, air and water based activities which include mountaineering, trekking, bungee jumping, paragliding, kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, river rafting and many other sports. Deputy Chief of Mission in the Indian Embassy, Dr. Ajay Kumar handed over a Cheque of the grant to Secretary, Ministry for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Nepal, Madhusudan Adhikari in Kathmandu on Tuesday. The amount has been released towards 25% of tendered cost (including 10% mobilization advance) of the Postal Highway Projects. The Government of India has so far released a total of 117.63 Crore rupees to the Government of Nepal for implementing 14 packages of the Postal Highway Projects. The construction of Dhangadhi- Bhajaniya-Satti road and India releases Rs 33.10 Cr to Nepal for 2 road Projects Lamki-Tikapur-Khakraula road has been completed. Since 1950, the Government of India has been supporting infrastructure development of Nepal and has provided financial assistance for construction of various Highways, Roads, Bridges, Airports, etc. as part of its multi-sectoral and multi-dimensional India-Nepal Economic Cooperation Programme. He reached Singapore this afternoon on the final leg of his three-nation tour to South

East Asia. The Prime Minister made a brief halt in Malaysia this morning after

1. Short title and commencement:- (i) These rules may be called the A&N Administration (Directorate of Social Welfare) Mukhya Sevika

(Supervisor) (for female only) Recruitment Rules, 2018. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Number of Post, Classification and Scale of Pay:- The number of posts their classification and the scale of pay attached thereto shall be as specified in column 2 to 4 of the Schedule I to II annexed thereto.

3. Method of recruitment, age limit, qualification etc:- The method of recruitment, age limit, qualification, and other matters relating to the said posts shall be as specified in Column 6 to 11 of the above said Schedules.

4. Disqualifications:- No persons,

(a) Who have entered in to or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or (b) Who having spouse living, has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person, shall be eligible

for appointment to the said posts, Provided that the Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands may, if satisfied, that such marriage is permissible under the personnel law applicable to such person and the other party to the marriage and there are other grounds for so doing; exempt any person from the operation of this Rule.

5. Power to relax:- Where the Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient to do so, he may by order and for reasons to be recorded in writing relax any of the provision of the rules with respect to any class or category of persons.

6. Saving:- Nothing in these rules shall affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and other concession required to be provided for the candidates belongs to Scheduled Castes, Schedule Tribes and other Specific categories of persons in accordance with the order issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
