Analyzing your Survey Results Report Instructions:

1. Once you have opened this document, you should copy and paste the instructions into a new Word document.

2. Save the document to 1335-PickUp/Suppa/ – (choose your class here) 3. Save the document as: last name, first initial – survey results

ie. Suppa, S – Survey Results 4. Please use size 12 Arial font ONLY for your document. 5. Remember to save your document again before you finish.

The following questions are to be completed INDIVIDUALLY. You are not to consult with your group members for responses. You will need to login to your group surveymonkey account to complete this assignment.

1. How many respondents completed your survey? a. Was this an appropriate sample population? Why or why not?

Hint: Think about sample size, location, etc.

2. List 3 responses that you found interesting or surprising?

3. What response did you find most interesting? Why?

4. What are 3 responses that you expected or predicted?

5. Was there a difference in the responses between males and females? If yes, why do you think this is the case?

a. Why might it be difficult to compare with your survey results? Think about your sample population.

6. Which survey questions would you change? (List at least 1)

a. How would you make them different?

7. Provide two additional questions that you would ask if you conducted this survey over again? Explain why.

8. Was your hypothesis correct? In a 250 word paragraph, explain whether

your hypothesis was correct or incorrect. Also explain why you think this might be the case. What trends or responses did you foresee? Which did you not foresee?
