Unleash your passion for performance. With the one-day AMG PERFORMANCE-Training, you will lay the foundations for the supreme mastery of a Mercedes-AMG vehicle. On closed training grounds you can improve your handling skills – even during sudden braking and when understeering or oversteering. Of course, you’ll also learn to master your first miles on the racetrack.

Available as an option when purchasing a Mercedes-AMG, the AMG Driver’s Package contains a voucher for participation in an AMG PERFORMANCE-Training with your own Mercedes-AMG. All the same, you can also book the event using a rented vehicle.

AMG ADVANCED-Training.

Follow the call of the racetrack and venture to take the next step: during AMG ADVANCED-Training, you will hone your driving skills over two days. Experienced instructors will assess your abilities, create uniform groups and put you into the pole position for targeted progress. Sustained by an inspiring team spirit and supported by professional analytical techniques, you can increase your pace lap by lap.

You can personally configure your AMG ADVANCED-Training through different option packages. All events take place on legendary European racetracks — from the Italian Autodromo di Imola to the Spanish Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on up to the Hockenheimring and Nürburgring in Germany. As an additional event, the (in)famous Nordschleife is also on the schedule for 2017.

How deep is your passion and how much talent goes along with it? There’s only one way to find out: train like a racing driver – with AMG PRO-Training. You can look forward to a personalised programme that assembles top-notch instructors for you. For two days, you’ll get down to business on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. In the provided Mercedes-AMG vehicles*, you will test different driving techniques straight from racing and perfect your own style.

The option packages offer you even more PRO possibilities, ranging from vehicles equipped for one to your own rental vehicle all the way to complete private coaching with extensive analysis by means of Video Analysis & Data Recording. As a highlight, you will be able to demonstrate the skills you’ve learned during open driving on the racetrack.

Indescribable. Breathtaking. Unique. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 evokes raw emotions. This is as true for the drivers as much as it is for the fans. At AMG MASTERS you have the unique opportunity to experience the winner of the 24-Hour Race Nürburgring 2016 from the driver’s perspective. You will first get to know the champion inside and out and ultimately guide it on your own around the track. As in professional motorsports, you will be supported by a well-trained team — from experienced mechanics up to your personal instructor. This is the master class of motorsports.

As part of an AMG PRO-Training session on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, you can prove yourself as a true racing driver and complete the official driving training course to qualify for a DMSB A-Level Licence. As good as your own! When you choose the ‘Rental vehicle’ option, you will be provided with a Mercedes-AMG to be driven by you and you alone. It’s an ideal opportunity to get to know your desired model. Of course, this way you can tackle all the training sessions as a single occupant with maximum driving time. For your rental vehicle, you can choose among different models depending on availability (see price list).

Let the going get rough! With the ‘Off-road’ option, you can expand the spectrum of your AMG PERFORMANCE-Training with another dimension – the untamed countryside. In a provided SUV equipped for two, you will master the correct driving technique for a difficult route and learn from our skilled team of instructors the right way to traverse hills, dips and slopes.

More grip, please! Optionally outfitting your vehicle with semi-slicks (MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2) noticeably ups the racetrack performance of your vehicle one more notch in the direction of true motorsports. Traction is improved when accelerating and braking, and when cornering you will experience a totally new level of grip. We offer semi-slick tyres only under dry racetrack conditions and exclusively for the Mercedes-AMG GT S, Mercedes-AMG GT R and Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé models.

Take it personally! By choosing the ‘Private coaching’ option, you’ll be mentored by your very own instructor as part of the regular schedule of events. One on one. Supported by professional Video Analysis & Data Recording, your instructor will concentrate specifically on your individual driving skills. Together on the track you will complete special exercises (e.g. ‘Lead & Follow’ with you behind your instructor on the racing line, or ‘Shadow driving’ with your instructor in the pursuit vehicle) and thus make especially effective progress in your training.

The Sachsenring will arouse your hunting instinct toward your fastest times. Straights, technical stretches and 14 challenging corners that you enter partially ‘blind’ – that is, without being able to see the exit. Another challenge is the enormous height differentials over the length of the course. We provide the immense fun. You have to bring the skill.

With a mix of fast and slow stretches, the Hockenheimring challenges the full range of driving skills. The key section is the Motodrom. You have to hit the first curve in just the right way to get through it well.

Our history.

It was with the conviction they could win that Hans Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher laid the foundations of AMG in 1967. Together, they optimised engine

power and dedicated themselves to customer sport. They were soon competing against strong, established racing teams and, in 1971, won their class at the legendary

24-hour race of Spa with the AMG 300 SEL 6.8. This made the letters A, M and G famous around the world. A – the visionary Aufrecht, who constantly drove the company forward;

M – the technical genius Melcher, who found solutions for even the most complex challenges; and G – Großaspach, the birthplace of Hans Werner Aufrecht. The courage and determination of

its founders to take on the impossible and to work hard at it still shape the spirit of AMG to this day.

Take-back of end-of-life vehicles. At the end of its long life, you can return your passenger car to us for environment-friendly disposal in accordance with the European Union (EU) End-Of-Life Vehicle Directive. But that day is a long way off.

A network of vehicle take-back depots and dismantlers has been established to make it as easy as possible for you to return your vehicle. You can leave it at any of these points free of charge. In so doing, you will be making a valuable contribution towards completing the recycling loop and preserving resources.
