Citation preview
the most excitinG citY — at the most vibrant time
Dear Graduate,
As a new graduate, you face the difficult challenge of distinguishing yourself from others. I imagine you look forward to the journey ahead with excitement, and perhaps a bit of trepidation, knowing that the decisions and investments you make now will shape the direction of your life.
I urge you to consider the Graduate Gateway Program and the many ways in which it can enhance your future.
Students come to Graduate Gateway for many reasons. Some want to test the waters before enrolling in a graduate program at AU or another university. Others want to make connections as a stepping stone to a career in Washington, D.C. Still others want challenging internship opportunities to gain valuable experience and a competitive edge as they seek a permanent position. And all want to build networks and enjoy this vibrant, international community of people who are engaged in the events of our time.
Washington ranks among the top U.S. cities for young professionals. Average incomes and starting salaries are high, unemployment low. The city thrives on young, well educated, career-minded people. We want you to be part of that. Our professors have years of practical as well as academic experience. They will help place you in tailored internships, introduce you to key leaders in your field, and advise you in your graduate school or full-time job search. Students leave Graduate Gateway saying they have found new direction in their lives.
If these opportunities appeal to you, please take a close look at Graduate Gateway. I am confident our programs and the contacts you make will open many doors on your lifelong personal and professional journey.
Sincerely,
Donna M. Fish, Ph.D., Dean

If these opportunities appeal to you, please take a close look at Graduate Gateway. I am confident our programs and the contacts you make will open many doors on your lifelong personal and professional journey.
Sincerely,
Donna M. Fish, Ph.D., Dean
