All I Need to Know about Life I Learned from My Dog

If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you'll get what you want. If at first you don't succeed, beg. Don't go out without I.D. Be direct with people; let them know exactly how you feel by peeing on their

    shoes.

Be aware of when to hold your tongue, and when to use it. Leave room in your schedule for a good nap. Always give people a friendly greeting. When you do something wrong, always take responsibility for it (as soon as

you're dragged out from under the bed).

If it's not wet and sloppy, it's not a real kiss.

o My Dog's Philosophy of Life: "Life is short; bite hard."o "Can I become the person my dog thinks I am?" or:o "I hope I can become the person my dog thinks I am." or:o "I hope I can grow up to be the person my dog thinks I am." and:o my karma ran over my dogma

(What's that? I don't have a dog? Oh. Never mind....)

Things We Learn from Our Dogs

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride. Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy. When loved ones come home, always run to greet them. When it's in your best interest, practice obedience. Let others know when they've invaded your territory. Take naps and stretch before rising. Run, romp and play daily. Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not. If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it. When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them

    gently.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you. Avoid biting when a simple growl will do. On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree. When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body. No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and

pout...run right back and make friends.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Since then, people have asked Godto continue to honor youby working wonders through your intercession.

Those who have experienced the power of prayers offered in your namehave told how God has answered them.

God has healed the sick, restored peace of mind, relieved poverty, and granted favors of all kinds.

Now in this time of need, I ask you, Saint Anthony,to pray with me for the things I desire.

I pray that Lennox the therapy dog is returned to his family alive and well, to live out his life according to God's Divine plan.
