The 46-metre- long Al i la Purnama cons ists of three

decks and has been bui l t by hand in the tradit iona l

sty le of a Phin is i , as used by the Bugis seafarers

from south Sulawesi in Indones ia .

In keep ing wi th Al i l a ’ s emphas i s on s ty le and

susta inabi l i ty , the furniture throughout the boat i s

custom-made from teak, rattan and other loca l ly

sourced mater ia ls from Indones ia .
