This guide walks you through how you

can enroll in the Airwatch MDM

AIRWATCH ENROLLMENT

To begin the AirWatch enrollment process, download AirWatch

from the App Store.

Purpose of AirWatch:

Connect you to the WE Secure WiFi network.

Grant access to the W-E App Store.

Secure your device in case it is misplaced or stolen.

AIRWATCH

Open AirWatch from your iPad. In the

URL bar, type mdm.weschools.org

Tap Save.

“AirWatch” Would like to use your current

location

Tap OK.

“AirWatch” Would like to send you push

notifications.

Tap OK.

Not Enrolled: This device is currently not

MDM enrolled. Enroll now?

Tap Yes.

Enter Teach as your Group ID.

Tap Next.

Enter your Username. Your Username is

that same name you use to login to your

computer, minus the “.t”

(ex. Leiboldd).

Enter your Password. Your Password is

the same password you use to login to

your computer.

Tap Next.

If you are unable to move forward from

this point, try your password again. Be

sure all capitalized characters,

numbers, and symbols are correct. If

this still doesn’t allow you to connect,

contact Computer Services.

Next, you are taken to your Settings to

Install Profile.

Tap Install.

Next, enter the security passcode you

have set for your iPad.

A Warning will appear informing you of

the MDM abilities. The purpose of the

MDM at WE Schools is to:

Secure your iPad in case it is misplaced

or stolen

Connect you to the WE Secure WiFi

network

Grant access to the W-E App Store

Tap Install.

Tap Done.

To access the WE Secure WiFi network, go to your Settings

WiFi ( left hand bar) tap on

WE-Secure2

If the iPad warns that you are unable to join the network, tap

Dismiss , and tap on WE-Secure2 again.

When connected it should be marked with a blue checkmark and

highlighted blue.

WE SECURE WIFI

When you are finished enrolling in the

AirWatch MDM, double click your home

button to access the multitasking bar.

Locate the AirWatch app and hold your

finger down on the app until it starts to

wiggle and a red minus symbol appears

in the top left hand corner of the app

icon.

Tap the red minus symbol to shut the

AirWatch app down.

Once you are connected through the

AirWatch MDM, the W-E App Store will be

downloaded to your device. To open the

store tap on the app icon.

The W-E App Store will open in Safari.

From here you can download district

purchased apps and recommended free

apps.

NOTE: Do not download a district

purchased app from the W-E App Store

unless you are told to do so.

Do not download AirWatch on your personal device(s).

Do not inform teachers of AirWatch if they are not enrolled in the

Anyplace Learning Space Academy. If they have a district owned

device and are not using AirWatch have them contact Computer

Services.

Do not delete AirWatch or the installed profiles from your district

owned device.
