Powers ON or OFF the airVision NVR

Power ON Press the Power button to turn on theairVision NVR and start all services.

Soft Power OFF Briefly press thePower buttonto stop all services and safely shut down theairVision NVR.

Hard Power OFF Press and hold the Power button to immediately turn off the airVision NVR.

Reset Button

Resets the airVision NVR to factory defaults. TheairVision NVR must be fully booted and running.Press and hold the Reset button for about 10seconds. The airVision NVR will automatically rebootwith default settings.

WARNING: Resetting the airVision NVR erases all recordings andconfiguration settings.

Accessing the airVision Configuration PortalThe airVision Configuration Portal is accessed by using a webbrowser. There are three different ways to access the portal: airVision Online Registration The simplest method for airVision

NVRs connected to a DHCP-enabled LAN with Internet access. Ubiquiti Device Discovery Tool For users with a DHCP-enabled

LAN that do not wish to register or do not have Internet access. Direct Connection to airVision NVR Allows you to configure

the airVision NVR by connecting it directly to your computer viaEthernet.

Note: The airVision NVR must be connected to aDHCP-enabled LAN that has Internet access.

1. Press the Power button on the airVision NVR, and wait aboutone minute for it to fully boot up and start all services.2. Launch a web browser from a computer connected to the

Accessing the airVision Configuration Portal

3. After registering the airVision NVR, the web browser will beautomatically redirected to the Configuration Portal.

4. Go toConfiguring the airVision Controller on page 9.

Ubiquiti Device Discovery ToolIf it is not already installed, download the Ubiquiti DeviceDiscovery Tool (v2.3.1) atwww.ubnt.com/download#app1. Press the Power button on the airVision NVR, and wait about

one minute for it to fully boot up and start all services.2. Launch the Ubiquiti Device Discovery Tool .3. A list of Ubiquiti devices on the network will appear. Locate

airVision NVR under Product Name and double-click it.

4. ClickWeb UI on the right.

5. Go to Configuring the airVision Controller on page 9.

Direct Connection to airVision NVR1. Connect the Ethernet cable from the airVision NVR directly to

your computer.

2. Press the Power button on the airVision NVR, and wait aboutone minute for it to fully boot up and start all services.

3. Configure the Ethernet adapter on your computer with a staticIP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet.

4. Launch a web browser and type http:// 192.168.1.30 in theaddress field. Press enter (PC) orreturn (Mac).
