• For Overseas supplies, AIP has locations near major ports in India

supported by a network of overseas logistics centers and

Layout Decisions

•The layout is designed in such a manner which reduces the ever increasing

production costs.

•Machines are placed in a sequential manner.

•The pressure die casting machine is provided separate space because of its huge

size and easy storage of finished cast to be used for further processing.

•Line process is used for facilitating swift and uninterrupted production.

•The warehouse is situated just next to the the production lines, allowing the easy

flow of material from machine to the store room and vice versa.

• the facility is well ventilated and proper care has been takes to optimally utilize the

available space.

PURCHASE DECISIONS

•The raw material are procured from reputed Indian suppliers like Tata

steel, JSW, etc

•The raw material need to be of high quality because even a small flaw in

the raw material can hamper the production rate and can even damage the

machine.

•In case of any complaints, the company posses a well defined system

which enables it to trace back the pistons to the raw materials stage and

supplier of raw material as well.
