»Made to lastEach of our lures starts with quality materials like solid brass andcopper which is carefully gauged, shaped, and nickel-plated. Specialprimers, up to four layers of color, and a clear top-coat give extraluster and protection to the wide selection of colors. We finishwith the best rings and hooks. All Eppinger lures are premiumproducts that stand up to years of fishing action.

Today's Dardevle lures are crafted to perfection just as ev"Eppinger lure has been for more than 94 years.

,This uncompromising dedication to quality has been an Eppingertradition since Lou Eppinger began making lures at the turn ofthe century. Only the very best materials and workmanship gointo the making of our prized lures.

Each Dardevle lure begins life as part of a coil of solid brass orcopper that will not corrode. After being pierced, stamped, andtrimmed, the spoon is tumbled in a barrel to remove roughedges. It then receives an initial polishing or nickel plating.

The spoon is dipped into a cleaning solution before getting itsinitial Coat of premium primer. A white lacquer precedes thevarious hand-applied color coats, machining, and airbrushing.Some lures are even oven-baked.

Then, a clear lacquer sealer coat is applied and the back of the luresare cleaned for any over-spray. During this two-day process, eachEppinger plant employee handles the lure at least once. We'reso sure of our paint quality that we guarantee th6 paint for thelife of all lures, something no other manufacturer does.

The final manufacturing step is the application of sptft-rings,hooks, willow or spinner blades, or all-natural tails. The finishedproduct is a combination of quality alloy, the latest paintingtechnology, and skilled hand crafting.
