Agro Food Spółka Akcyjna was established in 2001 in a picturesque town of Pilica situated in the Polish Jurassic Highland. Agro Food manufactures and sells flavours, spice mixes, food concentrates and functional additives for food industry. Our long-standing experience, modern production and research potential, together with the fact that we analyse and use the latest scientific achievements make us one of the few Polish companies with widely understood know-how and advanced technology for the manufacture of flavours from simple aromatic chemicals. Agro Food and its modern high-quality products are well known on the Polish market, bringing many positive associations. Our position is further strengthened by many scientific seminars we organize and our active participation in numerous trade fairs, both in the country and abroad. High quality of our products is guaranteed by our carefully recruited , experienced, creative and devoted personnel.

Our sales department is based in Czeladź, on the outskirts of Silesian agglomeration, alongside the main roads to Warsaw and Cracow. The whole complex covers the area of 2800 square meters and includes consists of modern office buildings, adequate storage space, laboratory and technological facilities.

LABORATORY AND QUALITY CONTROL

One of our priority strategies, pursued since the very foundation of the company, which ensures our significant and lasting presence on the food additives market, is our quality strategy. With this in mind, we have further developed the quality control department, equipping it with the advanced measuring and testing instruments and engaging highly qualified and experienced personnel in the quality control procedures. Thanks to such an approach our company guarantees high standard of the products and their reproducible quality. To ensure the high quality of our goods, all the elements that affect the quality, such as microbiological, physical-chemical, and functional parameters, are carefully determined and analysed at each stage of the production process, starting from raw materials to final products. All our products conform to the current regulatory standards and meet all the required criteria for the particular applications. In this respect we have also developed our own methods and techniques of analysis.

The procedures of HACCP and ISO 9001:2000 have also been implemented.

It has the state-of-the-art industrial equipment and machinery for small-scale manu-facturing of the products belonging to meat industry and gastronomy.

In combining experience with innovation, the food scientists working in the Application Center provide answers for food producers by developing easy-to-manufacture, safe and nutritionally balanced products at outstanding value.

Top Arom Flavours This group includes concentrates of nature-identical flavours or natural flavours and artificial flavours which have been designed to give the products in which they are applied characteristic taste profiles. Top Arom flavours may serve as intermediate goods, usually top notes, in the process of manufacturing flavor preparations.

Top Spice Flavours

In this group you will find natural flavours based on essential oils, oleoresins and superesins. All the ingredients are selected in the way which ensures maximum safety of the products. They are made from the best quality raw materials, free from impurities, unwanted tastes or aromas. Manufactured in adequate sanitary conditions, they are of high microbiological quality, confirmed by tests. Originally they were meant for flavouring food products; however, they can also be used in the production of spice concentrates.

ProTaste Flavours

ProtTaste is a system for modelling basic taste dimensions which is a modern way of improving taste and aroma in order to give a product unique taste impressions, which is highly dicult to achieve when applying traditional taste intensifiers like monosodium glutamate, HVP or yeasts extracts.

Pro taste products are based on natural components and intensify natural general impression of flavour. Pro taste products are an innovation in food production process.

Bakery & Confectionary Flavours Flour, sugar, eggs and milk are the main ingredients for bakery goods, which can be divided into two groups: bread and cakes. Since very high temperatures are applied (100 - 180 C) in the production process of these, bakery flavours have to be thermostable. There are three main groups of these flavours: • flavours applied in doughs and pastries: bread, butter, vanilla, cocoa, lemon • flavours applied in creams and fillings: strawberry, raspberry, chocolate • flavours applied in coating glazes and icings.

Meat Flavours Meat flavours are produced during processes such as drying, fermentation, stewing, boiling, frying, roasting, and smoking. As a result, a selection of aromatic compounds arise. They are characteristic of the kind of treatment applied as well as a particular type of meat. We offer a wide choice of both types of meat flavours: boiled meat, roasted meat, boiled chicken, roast chicken, roast turkey, mutton, lamb, raw ham, cooked ham, pork, boiled beef, roast beef, salami.

Cheese Flavours

The production of cheese has a long tradition, which has been cultivated by many peoples of the earth. Each type of cheese has its very characteristic, unique taste depending on the type of milk used, such as cow's, sheep's, or goat's milk, and also on the fermentation process applied.

A wide selection of our cheese flavours contain products of authentic cheese taste profile, for example parmesan cheese flavour, cheddar, blue cheese, Romano or Swiss, to mention only a few.

Culinary Flavours

Culinary aromatics are spice concentrates making use of a number of various ingredients in order to obtain a complete taste profile typical for a given product. They have been created to flavour ready-made meals and dishes characteristic of particular world cuisines, such as the following:

• Thai cuisine: Thai Spice, • Indian cuisine: Curry Madras, Indian Ethnic Spice, • Mediterranean cuisine: Greek Spice, Gyros, Pizza Spice, • Mexican cuisine: Chili Spice, Mexico, Salsa Spice, • French cuisine : Herbs de Provence, French Dressing Spice.

These products are designed in such a way as to retain in the given dish the most important elements and qualities resulting from the original ingredients and applied method of preparation.

Herb & Spice Flavours

Spice flavours, unlike natural herbs and spices, do not contain unwanted components, which is achieved through the application of the processes like extraction, distillation and fractionation. The material obtained in this way contains the desirable components in the amounts expected by customers. The concentration of these flavours is several times higher than of natural herb or spice; moreover, their water solubility makes them ideal for those products in which their visual presence is undesirable.
