It is all to do with poor marketing
facilities
Presentation by Lingson Adam
Poor Marketing haunts farmers in Tanzania
• It is not always the poor harvests due to poor agronomic practices or harsh weather conditions that render the majority Tanzanian small holder farmers ineffective;
• It is not even the lacking farm inputs and implements that are the main culprit; but most often than not;
• It is the lacking or rather poor infrastructures, unfriendly marketing facilities and poor entrepreneurial skills that haunt most farmers in Tanzania, and in many African countries, I presume. This is what renders agriculture unprofitable to poor farmers.
