about me

My name is Agata Jezierska, I live and study in the city of Wro-claw, Poland. At present, I study Architecture at the Wroclaw University of Technology.

My passion is architecture, and it is also a field of my studies. During the undergraduate level of studies I took part in the Erasmus exchange programme at Valencia, Spain.

If you ask any of my friends they will ensure you that I am a very open-minded person, sociable, strongly motivated and hard-working.

I am an amateur photographer too and I am happy to con-nect it with my studies and fondness for traveling. I photograph architecture, marvellous cities and exciting urban life.

I can sum up my philosophy of living an ordinary day with the following phrase: photography teaches me how to see the world around me, music teaches me how to hear the space growing, cycling teaches me how go further through the space.

House of an architect with a studioHouse of the architect located in Zorawina near Wroclaw. Atrium house elevated on a ramp with partly hidden functions in the walls.The project includes guest rooms, a meeting room and an architectural studio.

Maslice Habitat_house of an artistHousing of six family houses located far from the center of Wroclaw in a peaceful green area.A demonstration house is dedicated for a family of an artist with a disabled son and daughter learning to play the piano.Buildings have partially glazed facades. Private terraces come together in a common space.A hand-drawn project.

West LibraryA project of a library located in a fast-growing west side of Wroclaw.The core of the building with functional zones is surrounded by a glass box constructed with a double facade.It creates the second interior outside of the library.

Youth hostel in WroclawCity hostel located in the surroundings of the Old Town of Wroclaw at the place of a tenement demolished during World War II.Next to the neighboring building a glazed courtyard is designed along with a wall with climbing ivy. The sleeping capsules windowsoverlook the courtyard. The building uses hybrid collectors installed on the green roof and rainwater.

Dreamscape KindergartenKindergarten design with an organic shape that stimulates children's imagination and physical movement - it is a spatial challenge for the children. Designed with inner and outer garden because of the continuing need for contact with nature among the children.

eKołoProject realized for XIV Sanitec Koło Competition for “Public Bathroom Design” in Cracow, Poland, 2012. The idea is to use the eco-friendly solutions, such as gray water and ecological materials with low thermal transmittance. Additionally, the glazing is covered with decreasing transparency of glass in the bathroom area, and increasing in the area of services.Group: Agata Jezierska and Katarzyna Gontarek.

WIA_adaptation of a bathroom for a disabled personAdaptation of a bathroom for the disabled person realised during workshops organized by WIA in Wroclaw.Project includes two proposals along with a cost estimation, which may be funded by the city social welfare centre.Group: Agata Jezierska and Ewa Emmerling


I discoverI discover through confusion and search.The idea is to create a spatial maze of flexible, translucent material,which successive layers overlap and form the haze effect.

I sleepDesigned space creates a soft world which has a morphic coherence.Space adapts to the user so that everyone can find their comfortable place in this micro world.

I fightThe endless fight which purpose is unclear, and yet it continues. The idea combines with maze of staircase leading to each other. Climbing becomes a Sisyphean task.

I partyPartying through the interaction with the participants of the entertainment. The project uses the play of light and shadowso people can watch the movement of the dancers on the other side of the wall.

Sculpture exhibitionSculpture exhibition is located in the middle of the path leading through the campus of Universidad Politecnica de Valencia.The workshop main purpose was to present the concept only through working with mockups.Project uses the phenomenon of transparency (translucent and opaque walls) and reflection (mirror walls).The observer is drawn into the fun through the mystery, anticipation and the change of perspective.Group: Marcos Bou Llau, Arturo Zurita Vidoretta, Maria Luisa Megia de Haro, Agata Jezierska
