Medical Team draws the Net of Evangelism

Our medical team sees 500-800

patients a day and provides $20,000 of free medicine

each trip. African pastors share the gospel and pray with each person.

The “Miracle” of an African ChurchAfter we finish building a church, neighbors will tell us they have prayed for a place to

worship for many years. They call these 18’ x 28’ “pole barns” a miracle. The $1200 cost would not be possible because the average wage is a $1 a day.

New Church Start in AfricaThis is new pastor, Daniel Caleb, at our medical clinic (left). The Wanganga Church begins this day as people pray to receive Christ. His first step is to train new believers the following Sunday with the 10 Bibles that CMN provides.

Six to eight months later a CMN construction team will build the church a permanent place of worship and ministry. Here (right) is a celebration service after we finished our part of the construction. This will provide a place to worship (dry in the rainy season) and to feed orphans through K4K.

Ten Bibles in native languagegiven to each church: $100

Pastors’ Bicycles for Ministry cost $100A bicycle is like a pick-up truck in Africa. These pastors cover a 30 mile radius as they minister to new believers. These bikes save time and give pastors a way to carry materials to their church and its members.

Church Building costs $1200CMN built Katito Baptist Church in 2006. They have started two new churches since

then. (below) Pastor Wilson and some church members thank CMN on a Monday morning for all we’ve done for them. CMN also paid for Wilson’s training.

Be a Praying Partner

CMN seeks 1000 “prayer partners” to pray daily for each team as it travels. Check our website for trip dates and destinations.www.churchmissionsnetwork.org

Pray for K4K as we double to 12 churches feeding over 800 kids in August as our financial resources increase.

Pray for our new pastors as they use what they are learning in seminary.

Pray for God’s leadership as our teams are formed by people from all over the United States.

Be a Giving Partner

Over 90 cents of each dollar given to CMN goes directly to the field. Below are ways a small gift gives HOPE:

$50 buys one goat for widow and family

$60 feeds a child for a year thru K4K

$100 buys a sewing machine so women can make clothes to sell to feed their families

$1200 builds a permanent church

$10 buys a Bible

$100 buys a pastor a bicycle

$5 buys a mosquito net to prevent malaria

Be a Serving PartnerWe lead several teams a year. We need medical personnel, construction workers, teachers, and many people with a desire to serve wherever needed.

Our trips are different times of year and our focus changes to meet the needs of the area we are serving. The cost is determined by where we are going, how long we will be there and the travel cost.

If you feel led to participate or know someone who may be interested, please contact CMN.
