• STEP ONE: Draw from the bag which artist you will be informing the class about. Then research that artist!!!

• STEP TWO: Fill in an outline. Next write a lead that will catch the audience’s attention.

• STEP THREE: Write at least (3) details about your artist. Some questions to consider are: Who are they? What

genre are they talented in? Why are they important or influential? Where are they from and or where do they live now? When did they

make the news or become a notable artist? Are they still alive today… if not, why are they important still?

• STEP FOUR: Wrap up your reasons with a great concluding sentence.

• STEP FIVE: Present your findings to the class in 3 to 5 minutes & hand in your paragraph along with a visual.

Beyonce is no small person to be messing with. She is “Sasha the Fierce”! Beyonce was born to be a megastar, beginning her career with Destiny's Child and later a solo

career. She is well known and respected as a humanitarian and has helped many women, children and families with organizations such as; Phoenix House, Miami Children's

Hospital, and The Gulf Coast Relief Fund. As well, she has served as an ambassador for many youth programs.

Beyonce doesn’t just sing, her voice has helped raise more than $100 million dollars for cancer research. Beyonce

herself has said, “I know that what I give out comes back to me,” she explains. “How I treat people and the things I do, and the way I give back, comes back to me.” This proves

that Beyonce is more than just an artist, but a humanitarian.
