Aquacultural Engineering 53 (2013) I–II
The Aquacultural Engineering Society serves as an authoritative source of information on aquacultural engineering and provides engineering
support to initiatives from or for the aquaculture industry. This is accomplished by providing technical information and opportunities where
aquacultural engineering problems and potential solutions can be discussed with knowledgeable people of similar interests.
Membership is open to those with an interest in the engineering aspects of culture, processing and/or distribution of aquatic organisms or
associated products. Membership includes a subscription to Aquacultural Engineering at a modest fee. Two levels of membership are offered,
