The AdvisoryWorld Reports Managed Package is designed to work seamlessly with the Salesforce Wealth Management Edition. If

you have customized your Salesforce Wealth Management Edition’s Clients, Financial Accounts and/or WM Assets or if you have a

different Salesforce Edition (e.g. Schwab, TD Ameritrade or LPL) then you may need to make Object Mapping Changes as described

on pages 7‐8.

Download the AdvisoryWorld Reports Managed Package by browsing to the following site:

Press Continue


Press Continue

Press Next


1. Select “Grant Access to All Users”

2. Press Next

Press Install


After the Install is Complete, click Installed Packages

Notice that the AdvisoryWorld Report

Service is installed.


Click Develop then Click Custom Settings

Click Manage next to AdvisoryWorld System Settings

Press New


1. Enter Partner Password a. Org.‐wide Credential

b. Contact AdvisoryWorld for Credential

2. Enter Partner Username a. Org.‐wide Credential

b. Contact AdvisoryWorld for Credential

3. Enter AdvisoryWorld WebService Url a. (default

https://scanalytics.advisoryworld.com:443/services/ReportService)

b. (S&P Capital IQ

4. Press Save


Click Manage next to AdvisoryWorld User Settings


Press New to Setup the

Default User Settings

1. Enter Fund Hypothetical Amounta. User Defined Value for Asset Hypotheticals

2. Enter Username a. User Credential

b. Note that Salesforce Last Name of User MUST MATCH

AdvisoryWorld Last Name of User

c. Contact AdvisoryWorld for Credential

3. Enter Benchmark Ticker Symbol a. Default Comparison

4. Press Save


Press New to Setup the

Individual User Settings

1. Choose Location of “User” a. Enter Salesforce Username

2. Enter Username a. User Credential

b. Note that Salesforce Last Name of User MUST

c. Contact AdvisoryWorld for Credential

3. Enter Benchmark Ticker Symbol a. Default Comparison

4. Enter Fund Hypothetical Amount a. User Defined Value for Asset Hypotheticals

5. Press Save


OPTIONAL (Only Required for Non‐Default Salesforce for

Wealth Management Orgs.)


Click Manage next to AdvisoryWorld Object Mapping

Press Edit


1. Adjust Mapping a. Contact AdvisoryWorld for

Support with Mapping

2. Press Save

By Default, https://scanalytics.advisoryworld.com is listed

as an approved Remote Site that can be invoked from

Salesforce.com. If necessary, Press Edit to adjust this

Remote Site.

For example, https://portfolio.marketscope.com may be

used for integrations of S&P Capital IQ.


After making any adjustments, press Save. For example, if you are

using S&P Capital IQ’s end points, enter Remote Site URL of

https://portfolio.marketscope.com then press Save.


Create 3 buttons to access the AdvisoryWorld Reports: One on the Salesforce Account object, one on the Financial

Account object and one on the WM Asset object. The difference between the buttons is the URL that should be entered

for each button.

Accounts: Browse to Accounts >

Buttons and Links

Press New

1. Enter a Name such as

“AdvisoryWorld Report”

2. Enter the following

Syntax:

a. /apex/AWRS__G

enerateReport?i

d={!Account.Id}

&on=client

3. Pres Save


Press OK

Completed Form


Financial Account : Setup > App

Setup > Create > Objects >

Financial Account > Edit

Scroll down to the "Custom

Buttons and Links" section and

Press New.




2. Enter the following Syntax:

3. Press Save



Press New.


Press OK

WM Asset : Setup > App Setup >

Create > Objects > WM Asset > Edit



Press New.




5. Enter the following

Browse to Account > Page Layouts

Then Press Edit

Click Buttons


Click and Drag AdvisoryWorld Report onto

Account Detail. Release when the Green

Checkmark Displays as noted.

Press Save


Browse to Create Objects then Click

Edit next to Financial Account

Click Edit Page Layout


Browse to Create Objects then Click

Edit next to WM Asset

Click Buttons then Click and Drag the

“AdvisoryWorld Report” button onto

the Financial Account Detail section

and Release it. Then Press Save.


Click Edit Page Layout

Click Buttons then Click and Drag the

“AdvisoryWorld Report” button onto

the WM Asset Detail section and

Release it. Then Press Save.


Build an AdvisoryWorld Report for any

Client Account by Pressing the button.

Build an AdvisoryWorld Report for any

Financial Account by Pressing the button.


Build an AdvisoryWorld Report for any WM

Asset by Pressing the button.
