Advantages of Extra-curricular Activities

Extra-curricular activities consists of indoor and outdoor activities. Its

playing an important role whether in the primary school or secondary school.

Extra-curricular activities include of uniform body, society and sport club. It gives

a lot of benefits to the students when they involve in those activities.

The first advantage of extra-curricular activities is the increase in

sociability which is a crucial ability for personal development and an important

criteria for job interviews. Peoples ability to make friends or to become a part of

a group fuels self-confidence and creates a better atmosphere of liability among

people. Besides, students are given the chance to be a group leader. They will

learn how to take responsibility for their groups choices, whether the outcome is

good or bad. It also teach students how to cooperate with one another and

compromise between different ideas and suggestions in a group. It is important

for the members to get along and discover that working together is the key to

success.

The second advantage of extra-curricular activities is learning new things.

For instance, learning about cultural differences by becoming friends with people

who are foreigners will create a better understanding of differences mutually.

This also can be regarded as a perfect examination about their sociability. Other

than that, students can learn to fully respect their own decisions and thoughts.

Most students face the dilemma of second judging their choices, especially when

the odds are against them. By doing extra-curricular activities, students areencouraged to have faith in the choices they make.

The third advantage of extra-curricular activities concerns better

motivation for school. Due to the fact that people will spend some time on extra-

encouraged to express their thoughts contribute ideas. Furthermore, certain

extra-curricular activities can help to release the stress that faced by students,

just like sweat after sport activities would feel more great.

In conclusion, there are numerous advantages of participating in social,

cultural and extra-curricular activities concerning sociability, the increase in

students knowledge about new things and their motivation for the hardships of

life. Hence, students should be encouraged to participate in extra-curricular

activities.
