Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women is a constituent College of Malla Reddy Group
of Institutions (MRGI) founded by Sri. Ch. Malla Reddy, an eminent educationalist and honourable Member of
Parliament from Malkajgiri Constituency, Telangana State, India. The Group has 12 Engineering Colleges
with 30,000 students, making MRGI the largest cluster of Institutions in Telangana, India. The MRGI is
conveniently situated 30 km from the International Airport, Hyderabad.
Malla Reddy Engineering College for Women is established in 2008, Accredited by NBA &
NAAC with 'A' Grade, Permanently Affiliated to JNTUH, Approved by AICTE, certified by ISO 9001:2015 and
has a strong vision of offering world class training to the promising engineers.
The college offers B.Tech Programmes in ECE, CSE, EEE & IT, M.Tech Programmes in
Embedded Systems & VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Computer Science Engineering and Computer
Science and MBA. MRECW emphasizes on Application Oriented Teaching & Problem Based Solving. Since
the establishment of the college, it is known for academic excellence. In collaboration with Talent Sprints &
FACE Institutes, the College offers Pre Placement Training Programs, e-learning & Training, e-Assessment,
Career Connect and Industry Connect Programs. Most of the MRECW students were placed in reputed
MNCs like IBM, L&T IES, NTT Data, Delloite, Amazon & CapGemini. For the better prospects, the college
offers training to students for Prestigious Certifications like Business English Certification (Cambridge
University, UK), Microsoft, CISCO and Oracle Certification through Centre for Development of
Communication Skills, Microsoft Innovation Centre, CISCO Networking Academy and Oracle Corporation
respectively within the College Campus and also offers project based training programs for I, II, III & IV year
students in their fields of interest. College initiates and organizes International and National Conferences,
Workshops and Refresher Courses in the different Engineering disciplines to upgrade the knowledge of the
faculty members. The College has MOUs with IBM, Tech Mahindra, Zensar Technologies Ltd., for
internships, Technology Exchange Programmes and Placements. MRECW is always in the forefront in
organizing workshops on latest technologies like Android, Cadence Tools, MATLAB, Multisim and Robotics
to fill the gap between the Industry and Academia and also organizes Personality Development Programmes
in association with Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Rama Krishna Math, Hyderabad. Students
established IEEE, IETE, ISTE, CSI & HMA Student chapters in each department under which they organize
National and State Level Technical & Management Symposia, Technical Quiz, Debate Competition, Group
Discussion & Mock interviews, Business quiz, Product Launch & Admaking and Young Manager Award etc.
to improve their technical skills and soft skills. MRECW also organizes standard events like Women's Day,
Engineer's Day, Teacher's Day, Annual Day, Graduation Day, etc.
The College provides online solutions to Teachers & Students of JNTUH & JNTUK Affiliated
Colleges through e-Learning Solutions and Two-Way HD Delivery Mechanism under JNTUH & Centre of
Excellence for e-Resource Development & Deployment under JNTUK in collaboration with Globerena
Center of Excellence. The College is Recognized Nodal Centre by Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI),
Institute of Engineers to Organize Workshops and also recognized nodal Centre by Regional Telecom
Training Centre (RTTC), BSNL Govt. of India in association with AICTE. The College also publishes the

The Department of Master of Business Administration has an intake of 60, offering World Class Management Education to students. The Department is well equipped with state of art laboratories and classrooms with facilities like LCDs, OHP and other Audio-Video equipment for better transfer of knowledge. The Department is a member of Hyderabad Management Association (HMA) and has establ ished Management Student Associat ion- Powered Administration. These associations organize many student development activities like National Level Management Symposium – ELITE, State level Business Quiz Competition–BIZQUIZ, Young Manager Award, Product Launch, Ad-Making and Business Plan competitions regularly, every academic year. The Department organizes regular Student Seminar Sessions, Group Discussions, Business Quiz, Case Studies and Role-Plays of two hours each per week to enhance Management Skills and also offers Value Added Certification Course on Business English Certification through Center for Development of Communication Skills within the College Campus.
Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC)The Department has established Entrepreneurship Development Cell
th(EDC) on 10 April, 2012 with an objective to guide and support the young and enthusiastic students with entrepreneurial interests. The cell organizes Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, Faculty Development Programmes and Skill Development Programmes in the college, arranges interaction with entrepreneurs and creates a mentorship scheme for student entrepreneurs and guides and assists prospective entrepreneurs on various aspects such as preparing project reports, obtaining project approvals, loans and facilities from agencies of support system and information on technologies.

Business Advancements (ICESBA-2018) is aimed to explore ongoing research in the streams of Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. Research is a pivotal factor in the sphere of academics and rapid business advancements. Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management comprise wide range of state of the art areas like Derivatives Market, Investment Avenues, Innovative financial Strategies, Mergers, Acquisitions and Corporate Restructuring, Privatization and Disinvestment – Impact, Consumer Customization, E-Tailing, Innovative Marketing, Emerging Trends in Marketing Research, Work Life Balance, Conflict Management Strategies, Service Industry - HR Challenges and Women Entrepreneurship in Global Scenario which have exhibited rapid growth and have numerous and widespread applications.
