What makes successful schools?

Clearly defined academic goalsCurriculum closely aligned with academic goalsEarly intervention for academic problemsDiverse methodology that will allow for individualized instruction. We must meet the students where they are, we can’t

expect them to catch us where we are!

Understanding that a diverse student population allows for an opportunity to learn more from each other and not see that as a barrier

The Three E’s -

To maintain momentum for educational success, I would instill in the staff my own personal mission, above and beyond the school’s mission. The “3 E’s” –

Educate

Every Child

Every Day!

If we can go home daily satisfied that we have educated every child we have come in contact with, we will have made the first step to creating a more successful learning community.

The BOTTOM LINE

We cannot lock learning into the four walls of the classroom or expect the students to just and have information ‘delivered’ to them as schools once did. We must do “WHATEVER – WHEREVER – WHENEVER” to reach and educate our children.
