Surface mounted closers will be acceptable. Item # 7: The Contractor shall carry builder's risk insurance as outlined in specification section 008000 - 11.1.1.9 - 2. Item #8: Replace drawing SD-4.0 with attached revised drawing dated 10-09-13. Item #9: Provide a cash allowance of $10,000.00 for re-routing of pool backwash piping. Details to be furnished at a later date by Owner's pool consultant (Scott Hawkins - Tridente, Inc. - Cincinnati, Ohio - (513) 688-7800). Item #10: Refer to specification section 076200 - 2.1 - B - 3 - a: Two coat system will be acceptable. 2. Prelude Plus XL Aluminum 15/16” exposed tee, HumiGuard.

Item #13: Clarification: Corridor 112 is fully tiled. Existing tile to remain. New tile to continue throughout Corridor 105 and Corridor 111. Item #14: Clarification: Excess tile in Teen Center (current Weight Room) to be used in New Free Weights Area. Teen Center will utilize existing rubber tile.

Item #15: Refer to Drawing E-0.1, Electrical Notes”, note #7 and Specifications section 260533. The minimum size conduit to be allowed on the project will be ½” trade size. Actual conduit used shall be based on N.E.C. fill limits or as specifically specified on the drawings. Item #16: Refer to Drawing E-1.2, “Electrical Construction Notes”, note #3. Each duplex receptacle shall be serve by a dedicated circuit, furnish and install homeruns and branch breakers in panel P2 as required. Item #17: Refer to Drawing E-1.2 and reference detail 1/E4.4. The required ceiling speakers for amplification ( Tagged as “H”, 4 required) shall be furnished and installed as part of this project. Speakers shall be equal to Bogen model ACD2X2U, self-amplified with required power supply. The ceiling speaker for intercom (Tagged as “I”) will be by others. Item #18: Refer to Drawing E-1.4 and attached sketches XE01 and XE02. Note that all surface mounted raceway system has been deleted and replaced with recessed floor boxes and additional floor boxes and circuits have been added.

Item #19: Refer to Drawings M-0.1and M-1.1. Change eastern most P-1 Electric Water Cooler to P-5 (ADA without bottle filler) per the attached Sketch XM01. Item #20: Refer to Drawing E-5.2, “Partial Feeder Diagram”. As part of the installation of the new 3P400A breaker to feed new panel “P1” the contractor shall furnish and install all labor and materials as required to move two existing 3P100A branch breakers and circuits from their current switchboard section location to the adjacent section. Item #21: Refer to Drawing DME-1.0, area near tagged electrical noted #5 and Drawing H-1.1. Furnish and install all labor and materials to move the existing thermostat to the new wall between rooms “Teen Center #121” and “Office #119”. Item #22: Refer to Drawing DME-1.0, area near tagged electrical noted #5 and Drawing E-1.3. Furnish and install all labor and materials to move the existing CCTV camera to the new wall between rooms “Teen Center #121” and “Office #119”. Item #23: Refer to Drawing E-0.1, Add the attached “Fire Alarm General Requirements & Operation” and include all associated cost in this project. Fire Alarm System General Requirements

Contractor shall furnish and install a fully functional fire alarm system in compliance with all National (including ADA), State and Local codes which apply and per the AHJ requirements. Installation shall include but not be limited to all required control panels, alarm notification appliances, manual pull station, detectors, interface modules, dailer, conduit and cable. Contractor shall furnish a complete design and submit all documents required by AHJ and provide a copy to the engineer for approval. All fees shall be by the contractor.

Contractor shall inspect the existing system and determine it’s capacity for expansion and include in the proposal all labor and material as required for a code compliant system. This shall include replacement of any component of the system necessary for compliance.

Fire alarm devices indicated are intended to show design intent only. It is the contractor’s responsibility to include in the proposal a system installed and fully compliant and approved by the AHJ.

When it is determined existing system components can be re-used new devices shall be furnish which are functionally and in appearance the same as existing.

The contractor shall verify all existing components and circuits intended to be used for capacity to serve new devices. Deficiencies shall be corrected by supplementing the system or component replacement as required.

Upon all additions and modifications to the system shall be fully test and accepted by the AHJ.

General Fire Alarm System Operation

The fire alarm system operation following the activation of a manual pull station, area smoke detector, thermal detector, range hood suppression system or duct type smoke detector shall activate the following sequence:

1.) All intended alarm notification appliances shall sound continuously until the fire alarm control panel is silenced by the alarm silence key.

2.) All visual notification appliances shall flash continuously until the fire alarm panel is silenced, alarm condition is cleared and the control panel is reset.

3.) A subsequent alarm shall cause it's programmed or intended outputs

to activate/reactivate.

4.) Initiate transmission of the alarm signal to remote central station.

5.) Activate a supervised signal to the local fire department per NFPA 72.

6.) Mechanical controls shall activate air-handling systems in accordance with NFPA 90.

7.) All system events shall be displayed on a FACP display and remote annunciator if installed.

8.) The control panel shall alarm continuously until silenced.

9.) An alarm from a zone or device selected for alarm verification shall cause a visual signal at the FACP and annunciator during the verification sequence. An alarm from any other device such as a pull station, shall override alarm verification and cause an immediate alarm.
