The labelling of electronic components has been a con-stantly changing area since the beginning. Some years ago, Murrplastik Systemtechnik GmbH developed a fast and simple labelling system for use on systems and components.

With this method of labelling only a few components are required to achieve rapid, clean and durable results.

Over the last few years user software has taken on a differ-ent complexion. User software has evolved to include various options such as engraving, printing, lasing and plotting. Con-nections to upstream CAD/CAE systems facilitate fault-free data transfer to the output devices.

A constantly growing range of materials makes it easier to adapt to today's label requirements.

To sum up, the original handwritten label has evolved into a universal labelling system designed to meet all labelling requirements and to enable us to achieve our objective of saving you time.

The European standard EN 60204 (VDE 0113 Part 1) pre-scribes the identification of cables, components and terminal blocks in control cabinets.

This identification must remain permanently legible. Murrplas-tik’s labelling system fulfils all of these requirements. The labelling can be done manually using the Ade mark sys-tem; alternatively the computer-aided ACS system can be used. Data transfer routines for CAD/CAE packets support the project-specific transfer of labelling information.

PEN stationThe pens are kept tidy and can stay in the machine per-manently. The plotter pens are closed airtight in the pen station, thus preventing them from drying out.

Automatic calibrationShould it be necessary to recalibrate the machine during a job, then this can be done at the touch of a button. After automatic cali-bration, the pen goes back to the position at which the job was interrupted and finishes the inscription.

High intake capacityUp to 10 base plates can be laid on one plotter board of the MVPS-G3 series. This means that base plates do not often need to be replaced during operation.

It is remarkably easy to transmit labelling data. Sim-ply send your data to our service centre by e-mail ([email protected]), data carrier or fax.

The data are then processed as quickly as possible by Murrplastik specialists and can be saved for two years for further projects on request.

The data format options are virtually unlimited: ASCII format, files from MS Office applications (Word, Excel) and ACS label-ling software data.

State-of-the-art equipment means that maximum quanti-ties of labels can be inscribed in minimum time.

Full serviceMurrplastik will supply the fully-fitted sleeves or the inscribed labels only. Just as the customer wishes.

High laser quality...... for supreme inscription quality on labels. Other inscription methods such as plotting and engraving are also offered.

Transfer of labelling data... is possible from all CAE/CAD programs or Excel files.
