All Achilles Riverboats are loaded with thefeatures you want to have on any type of whitewater.From the basic fabric and construction through suchdetails as strategic placement of “D” rings, Achilles quality is evident in every aspect of our boats. No one in the world possesses more advanced inflatable boat technology than Achilles, and this technology is found in every Achilles Riverboat.

Multiple “D” RingsYou will find stainless steel “D”rings located throughout Achillesboats to insure you have one wherever it may be needed, including 80mm rings for frame tie-down. All “D” rings are doublyreinforced to make sure they holdtight under the most extreme conditions.

The Toughest FabricThe tough nylon core fabric of every Achilles Riverboat is coated with both Hypalon® and Neoprene® for unsurpassed durability. Hypalon® is calendered under extremely high pressure to the fabric exterior to provide the best protection against damage from abrasions, punctures and weathering. Two interior layers of Neoprene® insure that all Achilles boats will be extra airtight, and retain optimum inflation levels longer.

The Strongest SeamsAchilles produces the only Riverboats with seams that are overlapped a full inch and reinforced with seam tape insideand out. Some riverboats depend on a one-half inch overlapwith no seam tape. Achilles seams are made to be thestrongest in the industry.

More in the FloorThe floors of all standardAchilles Riverboats are a heavy-duty 1260 denier andfully-wrapped for ultimate safety. They are also reinforced with wear patches at potential abrasion points for double protection.

Recessed ValvesAll Achilles Riverboats feature recessed valves which stay out of the way of passengers, lines and gear. This helps avoid any damage to valves when loading or transporting gear.

Designed for serious, recreational river-running aswell as professional use, the Achilles RS Series offers many of the same outstanding features as our professionalboats.

The tough nylon core fabric

of all RS Riverboats is coated with Hypalon®, and the

fully-wrapped floors are a full 840 denier. A long list of standard features includes two fixed thwarts, multiple air chambers, frame wear patches (exceptRS110), numerous “D” rings and much more. Even with this, these rugged boats are lightweight enough for outfitters and private users to carry andtransport with relative ease.

Nothing has been left out in making Achilles RV Series riverboats the strongest available for professional use. Boththe 840 denier tube fabric and the additional 840 denierfully-wrapped floors are coated with DuPont Hypalon® forunsurpassed protection against damage from abrasions,punctures and weathering.
