1 | Page Roger Nault ACHIEVEMENTS: POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION (CAMBODIA) Curriculum Delivery: Award winning Lecturer of a variety of Bachelor of Education and more recently, Bachelor of Arts (English for Professional Communication, Liberal Arts), courses in English to adult learners of English as a foreign language. Since 2008, mentored 4th year Bachelor of Arts students at Cambodia‘s “flagship” university, the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP), as they learned to critically challenge their ideas about themselves and their society by introducing critical thinking theory and de-mystifying philosophical ethics, empowering these adults to “build a brighter future” for their country. Instructional Design: Within the domains of reasoning, decision making, language, and reading, and infused with an ethical purpose, social development: Defined learning outcomes, Understood the state and needs of Cambodian post-secondary learners, Authored course textbook and compiled other materials to ensure the understanding of, rationale for, and the habituation of, critical thinking skills, while Leveraging, rather than ignoring or destroying local endogenous cultural / spiritual beliefs, and Employed Instructional Technology (EdTech) to enrich students’ learning experience and normalize exposure to new possibilities via a medium (mobile and social) that they own. Annually update course textbook (6 th ed) to ensure it remains current and relevant.
