Great Lakes is a pioneer in the field of management education. Our objective is to provide

MESSAGE FROM THE PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Dear Aspirant,

Great Lakes is in its 11th year of imparting cutting edge management education and is now

ranked amongst top 10 business schools in the country. Five years ago, to fill the void

of giving management education to working executives with an aspiration to grow, this

program was launched. Since then, it has been gaining momentum.

It is a program in line with our flagship one year full time Post Graduate Program in

Management (PGPM) on a flexible mode wherein participants - while being on their

job - attend classes on alternate weekends for two years. This program has introduced

cutting-edge courses like Business Analytics, Strategic Cost & Profitability Management

and Design Thinking & Innovation along with Business Strategy Simulation. In addition, it

offers various electives in three functional areas of specialization: Marketing, Finance and

Operations. Efforts are being made to introduce some on-line courses too in this program

along with regular classroom interactions. This program, like other programs of Great

Lakes, draws the best faculty resources available in India and Abroad.

Now, we are opening our admissions for Batch 6 (2015-17) and planning to commence

THE TWO YEAR POST GRADUATE PROGRAM IN MANAGEMENT – FLEX HELPS WORKING EXECUTIVES/ENTREPRENEURS TO DEVELOP

HOLISTIC MANAGEMENT COMPETENCIES

PGPM Flex is aimed at ambitious, goal-oriented, career - focused working professionals with typically 2 to 10 years of work experience,

on the lookout for their career progression. The program allows executives to pursue a world class management program while providing

them the flexibility of continuing their work and helps them leverage the classroom learning in their professional roles.

This 8 term (with classroom learning every alternate weekend) rigorous, fully mentored holistic program takes the work

experience of the participants into consideration and facilitates their understanding of the interaction between the various

functional areas of a business system. The program provides a cross-industry peer environment inside the classroom for synergistic

learning with top faculty from the Great Lakes faculty pool and visiting faculty from industry and academia. Like the one year

full-time PGPM program, PGPM Flex also emphasizes on skill development, teamwork, inclusivity principles and value-based management

along with a program-long schedule of group and executive coaching, 360-degree assessments and team activities, designed to unleash

the leadership potential in the participants and transform them into “Business Ready Managers”.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAApplicants applying to PGPM Flex should have:

■ Completed a minimum 10+2+3 years of education with an academic track record of 50% throughout

■ Should have a minimum work experience of at least 2 years by June 30, 2015. Candidates with 18-24 months’ work experience will be considered,

if found to be exceptionally good.

■ For PGPM Flex 2015, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept CAT*, XAT+, GMAT, MAT or CMAT scores. Candidates who do not have a valid

[less than 2 years] CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT or CMAT score will have to appear for GREAT (Great Lakes Aptitude Test).

* Great Lakes uses CAT scores only for screening applications for admissions and IIMs have no role in the conduct of Great Lakes academic programs

+ Great Lakes is not an associate institute of XLRI but uses XAT scores only for screening applicants for admission & XLRI has no role to play in the conduct of any of Great Lakes Management

programs

APPLICATIONS■ Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply to Great Lakes Institute of Management by filling an online application form on www.greatlakes.

edu.in after making a payment of ` 1,500.

■ Candidates have to provide the official email-id of the recommenders. The recommendation letter will be collected online from the recommenders

subsequently at a later date.

■ Candidates will be assessed based on the information provided in the application form and shortlisted for the interview process.

■ Candidates invited for the Interview will be intimated about the venue and the time slot through E-mail

EVALUATION PROCESSThe selection process may include written test and interviews, besides screening for academic performance and quality of work experience. Clarity of

purpose in pursuing executive management education as evidenced by performance in interview and overall assessment of academic achievements will

be the basis of final selection.

1. If a participant leaves the program for any reason after s/he has been accepted and enrolled, no fee refund will be made.

2. If a participant leaves the employment of the sponsoring company during the program s/he could continue to do the program only if the sponsoring company gives a

No Objection Certificate for the same.

FINANCING OPTIONThere are several ways to finance the PGPM Flex program. Some participants receive full or partial sponsorship from their employers, while others utilize the educational

loan provided by banks. The institute can facilitate financial assistance through educational loans for self-funded candidates. Candidates who receive formal offer Letter are

recommended to apply as early as possible.
