Abu Dhabi is a sprawling metropolis which offers an exotic combination of culture and luxury. It is
the perfect place for a vacation, especially for Indians, as the international air tickets are both
available and affordable. There are over 3 daily flights from Delhi to Abu Dhabi directly. These
flights are short and comfortable, each being just a little over 4 hours.
Abu Dhabi has a flourishing hospitality industry, the welcoming atmosphere and the facilities
available ensure a growing number of tourists. Listed below are some of the best things to do and
places to visit whilst in Abu Dhabi.
The Abu Dhabi Corniche with its quaint cafes, Mediterranean-style promenade and stretch of white
sandy beaches, feels like something out of a children’s’ story-book. You can choose to either take

pillars, 7 gold-plated chandeliers and one of the world’s largest Persian carpets that took 2000
workers over 2 years to complete. It also uses, marble, gold, ceramic and various precious stones.

as Al Jalili Fort and Liwa Forts are also worth the visit, they have an entirely different architectural
style and carry years of history.
Abu Dhabi has a lot of parks and gardens. The most well-known is the Paradise Gardens which holds
the Guinness World Record for the most hanging baskets. This dazzling wonder is spread over 4 acres
and has over 10 million flowers. It is the perfect place to relax and take in nature’s beauty.
The shopping malls in Abu Dhabi are humungous; The Abu Dhabi Mall has over 220 shops and
around 40 international food outlets. The Souks and market places offer a more traditional feel and
sell a wide range of products from carpets and spices to gold. The Barakat Gallery which specializes
in ancient art, displays antiques from all around the world almost all of which are up for sale. Abu
Dhabi is a shopper’s paradise and even hosts a shopping festival.
The cafes and restaurants are numerous and the cuisine served is not only delicious but also very
diverse ranging from Italian to Vietnamese. Sheesha’s Cafe is known for its Turkish coffee and
middle-eastern delights. Cafe du Roi has some delectable croissants and pastries.
Abu Dhabi is the perfect holiday destination. It can be super luxurious as well as affordable. As far as
