SOME FAQ's

What is the size of your band? Normally we are a 5, 6, 9 or 11 pc band... depending upon what you want. How do you determine what you charge for an event? The size of the band and duration of your event. What music genre does your band play? We can do any style of music you want: 70's, 80's, 90's, Current, Pop, Rock, Country, Alternative, Hip Hop, R&B, Motown, Reggae, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Classic Rock, Disco, and even Hair Metal. Do you have liability insurance? Yes! What is your band's usual attire? Clean and Professional. We are usually dressed in black. Depends on the event.

Will you wear costumes/wigs? Uhhhh....Maybe? Do you offer live sample performances? Yes! For now, you may preview The Replicas here. Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know? Absolutely! We will learn up to 3 new songs that are not on our list... just for you.

about US, fAQ's & Testimonials Can one of my guests sing a song with your band for my wedding/event? Yes, one guest can sing one song with The Replicas. The guest is to provide the band with the proper key and arrangement of the musical piece one month before the event. A chart would be greatly appreciated. A microphone will be provided. Additional equipment and instruments are the responsibility of the performer. Will you play 'Brown Eyed Girl'? Sure, why not! Will you play 'Free Bird'? Sure, why not! How much time do you usually need for setup? This depends on the venue & size of ensemble. We usually need about 2 hours for setup and sound check. How much space do you usually require? We prefer a minimum of 16' wide x 12' deep (we provide a stage plot plan when requested) Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? When requested! What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We have access to a wide variety of lighting and staging equipment. Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs? If you need us to Emcee, we'd be more than happy to and we're really good at it! Do you play recorded music during your break? Yes, we will play your preselected recorded music during breaks from your iPod, unless our DJ or live dinner music is contracted. What is the required payment schedule to secure your services? A 50% retainer with an agreement is due to secure our services with the balance is due one week before the event.

about US, fAQ's & Testimonials I go to more receptions than a professional wedding crasher! I've seen all sorts of entertainment - DJ and live. The Replicas are my new favorite group. Yes, they have a great sound, great vocal talent and great range. But, they have something that I seldom encounter – joy. Unbridled joy. I most recently caught them with Veronica, Stephanie and Eddie on vocals. I grew up in the Bronx, come from a family that loves to be the first on the dance floor and so I appreciate how the band and these three singers got the room on that dance floor. But I was especially taken by how these three signers glowed with fun and happiness as they sang. I didn't feel like I was watching people entertain me. I felt like I was watching three friends jamming in the moment. Their joy was contagious - people knew this wasn't "just" a band. A wedding is all about joy (if you're in the throes of planning, you may have forgotten this!) so don't obsess about the linens.
