    About the Firm

With a 16 year history, $1.2 billion of assets under administration, and a team of 24 professionals, McLean & Partners Wealth Management is one of the premier wealth management firms in Western Canada. We focus on developing relationships with high net-worth clients, while providing independent investment solutions and asset allocation strategies. Our purpose is to manage our clients risk, while achieving above average long-term investment returns.

At McLean & Partners, we are proud to be an independently managed and operated subsidiary of the Canadian Western Bank Group (CWB). Our vision is to be the wealth management company of choice for all stakeholders and the nature of our relationship with CWB allows us to work towards achieving these goals. Operating independently provides us with the flexibility and freedom to execute upon our strategic plans; while having the backing of CWB lets us reach a significantly larger client base across Western Canada. Working together ensures that both McLean & Partners and CWB can continue to grow their business well into the future.

Our Investment Team and Your Role

Our Investment Team currently consists of seven professionals two Senior Portfolio Managers, two Senior Research Analysts, and three Research Analysts. The team manages private pooled funds (equity, fixed income, and balanced) and segregated portfolios. The funds are managed based on our in-house research process, which is aligned with our overall investment philosophy. The Investment Team also works very closely with the Client Portfolio Management Team to assist in portfolio construction and asset allocation at the individual client level.

We are looking for someone who shares the same passion, interest, and understanding of fundamentals-based long-term investing. The Senior Portfolio Manager will contribute to the leadership of the team and have an active and important role in the teams results. This person will be involved with the team on a daily basis in discussing specific investment opportunities, portfolio construction, risk management, and overall asset allocation. Aside from the technical skills and responsibilities, we are interested in a candidate who is a thinker - someone who likes to read voraciously, learn continuously, and hold open discussions with their colleagues. The person will also be expected to teach and mentor their colleagues.

On the business side, the Senior Portfolio Manager will be required to contribute to the overall business strategy and the growth of McLean & Partners into the future.
