About the InstituteBeant College of Engineering & Technology, Gurdaspur was established by the Govt. of Punjab in 1995 as an autonomous Institution through registered society. The college campus is spread over 70 acres of land which includes the instructional buildings, amenities, residential and other facilities. The college is fully equipped with state of art Labs in all the disciplines. This institute is situated on the national highway Amritsar-Pathankot (75 km from Amritsar and 35 km from Pathankot) and well connected via rail, road and air (nearest airport at Amritsar).

About the DepartmentThe department was established in 1995 and offers four years B. Tech. Degree in Computer Science & Engineering. The department possesses the qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. Apart from the teaching and academic activities the faculty of the department is actively involved in research work. Core competencies of the department are in the area of image processing, compiler design, network security and web development etc.
