ABC Motorized Ball Valve InstructionsABC motorized ball valves powered open by line voltage and motor-driven closed by a built in capacitor, when power is removed from the valves.
Plumbing Installation
• Formaximumweatherprotection, thevalveshould be mounted in a horizontal pipe run with actuator above the ball valve.
• ABCvalvescanhavetheflowpassthrough in either direction.
• Astrainerupstreamisrecommendedifinstallation will have high particulate to prevent damage.
• Isolationandbypassvalvesarealsorecommended for maintenance.
Wiring
• Valveswiththe100-240VACactuatorwill operate off of a line voltage within this range.
• Linevoltageoutsideoftheratedrangewilldamage actuator.
• Blackwireconnectstoneutralandredtohot.
• Whenlinevoltageisapplied, valvewillopen and when voltage is removed, it will close.
