DEVELOPING LEADERSOur students become leading members of communities because our music programs give each participant a secure environment to develop the following:

DISCIPLINEWith a standard of excellence, every student in the marching band is challenged at some point. The discipline gained during these moments propels students to contribute, work hard, and inspire each other to perform each and every show with merit.

ENDURANCEBand students work countless hours, individually and together, practicing and training to find personal satisfaction and to bring success to the band. From long rehearsals to memorized drills and music, persistence thrives.

TEAMWORKWhat greater opportunity to learn teamwork than with over 275 other members. With so many varied backgrounds among such a vast group, each student quickly learns the meaning of teamwork, setting their own agendas aside for the betterment of the band.

CHANGING LIVESThe Jenks Trojan Pride knows its responsibility to the Jenks community, which is why our students donate their time and skills through countless hours of volunteer services. This tradition of volunteerism has developed into an experience far beyond merely learning an instrument - band members have given their time to at-risk children, participated in the walk to fight heart disease and stroke, given free music lessons, and much more.

As sucess can only be measured by what withstands the test of time, we know that tradition cultivates the character we want to instill in our students and advances their reach outside of our Jenks community.
