He was an Industry Professor of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering at NYU Brooklyn Polytech University He is an active member of APICS. He has presented numerous papers at National and International conferences in South Africa, Nashville, Ireland, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Toronto, Australia and Denmark. Blair is a Past President of the Princeton/South Jersey Chapter of APICS, actively serving on the BOD and teaches CSCP and CPIM courses for the chapter. E0846 Associate Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning (Berkeley Heights, NJ) - The Associate Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning defines and man-ages the supply plans for a portfolio of products. To accomplish this, the Associate Manager uses the Oracle EBS / Advanced Supply chain Planning suite to aggregate global demand from all streams and generates a preliminary supply plan. Then, the Associate Manager interprets inventory policy, verifies and reacts to network manufacturing-capacity, and verifies / incorporates material availability constraints. Finally, the Associate Manager communicates the final supply plan and any related information to internal / external manufacturing organizations. As part of this process, the Associate Manager will also report monthly and quarterly supply activities and business performance, and will escalate business-critical decision-points to management through the Sales & Operations Planning process.

E0835 Purchasing Manager / Director (NY metro area) - Reporting to the VP Supply Chain, the Procurement Manager will lead the international procurement operations for each division. A primary focus of the Procurement Manager will be the management of the day-to-day functions of the Procurement team; providing leadership, coaching and mentoring, to the team members. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the supplier base and ensuring that suppliers are meeting their service level objectives and that our supply needs with respect to customer demand are being consistently achieved.
