Character Hats

You will need: Scissors, tape and an adult to help you.

After printing your Hector’s World™ Character Hats onto A4 paper, use your imagination to come up witha cool nickname you could use instead of your real name online. Write your nickname in the front panel on your print out. Ask an adult to help you if you find writing a bit hard.

If you’ve printed out a colour-in hat, it’s best to do your cutting after you’ve done your colouring.

Very carefully cut around the dotted lines on your print out. An adult can help you if you find this hard too.

You will end up with 3 pieces; 1 centre piece and 2 strips (A & B). Tape each strip to the centre piece, making sure that the A & B panels at the end of each strip are covered by the centre piece.

Wrap the hat around your head and tape the last 2 strip ends together when it’s the right size for you.

Well done!

Remember, using a nickname instead of your real name, helps you play safe online.
