Welcome!The Queen’s Head is in new hands. We’re Kev and Kate Wood and we bought the pub at the start of August. We believe that a village pub should be just that, and whilst we’re delighted to have a highly accomplished Head Chef join our team, we believe that the best food is fresh food of great quality, and that sometimes the simple dishes done really well are the best. You’ll find no slates being used as plates or bacon foam here!

Provenance is important to us, and we’re delighted to have a relationship with lots of local suppliers. As a freehouse, we believe in shopping locally where possible and in East Anglia this is pretty easy, as we think it’s home to some of the best meat, fish, fresh produce and real ales in the country.

Children, dogs and muddy boots are welcome here.For our four legged friends, there’s always a Bonio or two behind the bar to be had, water bowls and dog waste bags provided in our lovely gardens.
