The essential feature of Sharadindu is its open spaces – we are, after all, building only 50% of the allowable FSI (the quantity of construction, usually expressed in square feet, officially allowed for any given area). At Sharadindu, one can see flower beds and flower-ing trees all along the drive ways and also between building blocks and all-around them.

Most importantly, Sharadindu has a huge aromatic garden – almost an acre -- right in the centre. At one end of this park is a stepped lotus pond and at the other end a raised platform with a shrine. This platform, aptly named Anantha, signifying our limitless cosmic consciousness, will also have a navagraha garden -- a garden having nine specif-ic species of plants corresponding to the navagrahas. These gardens are known for their salutary effect on the surroundings. This garden will also have many aromatic and medic-inal plants. An artificial stream flows right through this garden. Other Special Features:Common Kitchen: A well-equipped, state-of-the art kitchen will cook and supply delicious and nutritious vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cab-on-Call: As Sharadindu is surrounded by many picnic spots, and places of architectural and histori-cal interest, one may be tempted to go on excursions often. Nothing to worry. A cab-on-call service is available specifically for this.

Vehicle drop-and-pickup: A drop-and-pickup service from and to Pandavapura railway station, Mysore bus stand, railway station and airport will be available too.

The Township:

The township, when fully developed, will be world class – extensively landscaped with path ways, flower troughs, water bodies, pergolas and so on.

The central aromatic park will have a water body and a lotus pond. It will also have a gathering court and a platform with a gazebo for meditation .
