Mission

Centre for International Relations, since founded in 1996, has been an independent, non-governmental think-tank, dedicated to the study of international relations and those foreign policy issues that are of crucial importance to Poland, Europe and transatlantic relations.

Since 2009, CIR has been recognised as one of the best think-tanks of Central and Eastern Europe in ‘The Leading Public Policy Research Organisations In The World’ study, conducted by the University of Pennsylvania.

The CIR’s activities are mainly aimed at politicians, entrepreneurs and local government representatives, as well as central administration representatives, diplomats, experts in political studies, and media.

Our goals

To strengthen Polish specialists in foreign policy and deepen the knowledge of international relations in Polish society.

To expand the understanding of the aims of Polish foreign policy among the political, diplomatic and journalist elites in other countries, as well as to make Polish leaders aware of the other countries foreign policies’ objectives.

To influence the most important issues of international policy in Poland and abroad.
