● Gimp (www.gimp.org): The most popular open source image editing software. Runs on Windows, Mac and Linux

● Irfranview (www.irfanview.com): Simple and easy to use image viewer. Great for quick edits and conversions of graphic files.

● Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/): Photo organizing and editing software from Google. Low cost:

● Microsoft Publisher (http://www.techsoupcanada.ca/node/23): Create publications for print, email or web. Available through TechSoup Canada for $9 or as part of Microsoft Office.
