Gruwort des Prsidenten der DGN

Sehr geehrte Kolleginnen und Kollegen,

Sie halten das Vorprogramm des 89 . Kongresses der Deutschen Gesellschaft fr Neurologie in der Hand . Bei der Lektre werden Sie feststellen: Erneut bildet der DGN-Kongress die wichtigen aktuellen Themen in der Neurologie ab von der zunehmenden Anzahl invasiver Methoden bei neurologischen Erkrankungen ber die Hirntodbestimmung und neue Therapieanstze bei Multiples Sklerose bis hin zur Neurogeriatrie . Dies sind nur Schlaglichter, denn mit mehr als 80 wissenschaftlichen Symposien und mehr als 50 Fortbildungskursen haben Programmkommission und Fortbil-dungsakademie auch fr 2016 in der Breite wie in der Tiefe eine enorme Anzahl an Themen und Vortrgen zusammen-gestellt . Dieses Volumen ist ein klares Indiz dafr, dass die Neurologie weiterhin von hoher Innovationskraft geprgt ist, dass wir unseren Patienten immer mehr Behandlungsoptionen anbieten knnen und die Bedeutung der Neurologie in der Versorgungslandschaft weiter zunimmt .

Die guten Ergebnisse der Evaluation unseres Kongresses in Dsseldorf im vergangenen Jahr (siehe Seite 9) zeigen, dass wir auf dem richtigen Weg sind . Um nur ein
