Hello and Welcome to Lanier Middle School!

In this packet you will find practice problems for students to work on over the summer. All of these topics should have been covered in Elementary and it is expected students have already mastered these concepts. If your child struggles with these concepts we suggest you visit khanacademy.org , purchase Pre-Algebra software or a Pre-Algebra workbook for additional practice. This packet is due the 3r d week of school for a grade and we will have a quiz over these concepts during the 3 rd week as well.

Concepts covered in this packet:

1. NUMBER THEORY — divisibility rules, prime & composite numbers, factors, multiples, GCF, and LCM
