Description

Nissan Patrol engine conversion using an LS V8 and 6L80E &6L90E automatic transmissionOur transfer case adaptor housing replaces the 6L80 / 6L90 automatic transmission extension housing and then fits to theNissan transfer case using the original Nissan bolts. The adaptor is machined to accept the Nissan transmission mounts.

The 6L80E has an overall case length of 590mm / 23.23" without the extension housing. The adaptor housing for the Nissan GUis 161mm / 6.34" long. The combined length is the same as the Patrol 5-speed manual gearbox and our MFP1905 bell housingfitted together.

Nissan GU Patrol ZD30 Models OnlyIf the Nissan Patrol is fitted with a ZD30 diesel engine our engine mounts for the LS engines are bolt in. If you are replacing theZD30 and 5-speed manual running this adaptor kit will bolt up to your factory crossmember. If you are replacing the ZD30 and4-speed automatic transmission you will need to fit the ZD30 manual crossmember as the transfer case is positioneddifferently. Alternatively, you can run our MFG43000 adjustable crossmember, you will also need to replace or modify yourfront & rear tail shafts and low range lever to suit.

All other Nissan Patrol Models (TD, TB, RD, RB)The engine mounts for If these vehicles are weld in. You will get the engine mount location once the gearbox and adaptor

housing is bolted to your crossmember. If you require the engine to be mounted further rearward for some reason you willneed to modify the crossmember mounts or run our MFG43000 adjustable crossmember.

Note: On RD and RB models you will need to remove the oil slinger under the input gear to allow fitment

6L90 Transmission

The 6L90E transmission is 35mm longer than the 6L80E transmission, therefore the transfer case is moved rearwards andmodifications to the crossmember (or run our MFG43000 adjustable crossmember), tail shaft lengths and shifter will berequired. The 6L90E transmission has 2 output shafts - this conversion is only suitable for the Holden HSV style (32T outputshaft) transmission from the 6.2 LSA engine.
