Students will create art that utilizes color schemes. Students will identify art created by Impressionist artists. Students will create art inspired by Impressionist artists. Students will explore the color wheel and create art using monochromatic or triadic color schemes.

Assessment Formative assessments based on process; Summative assessment based on evidence found in artwork; utilizing a monochromatic and triadic color scheme in a composition. Formative assessments based on process; Summative assessment based on evidence found in artwork; interpreting the Impressionist style in an original artwork.
