ISAL for the support of your logisticalprocesses and activities

Indigo Logistics B.V. is the IT specialist for the horticultural logistical processoptimization. In order to obtain this Indigo developed a standard platform forcontrolling and visualization of various mechanical systems with the name ISAL.The past few years have seen a trend of deployed systems do not just "do whatthey have to do originally", namely the execution of commands without anyfeedback / statistics. There is now also increasingly expected output of systemsto provide information back to parent (management) systems for statistical data.Mechanical systems / machines are not only meant for the execution of orders,but are also sources of information!

ISAL has been developed for the control, visualizationand handling of logistic processes and activities. Forcommunication with an overlying ERP layer, the ISA'95standard will be used. The communication with thePLC layer is carried out according to the standardizedprotocol has been defined with our partners.

The ISAL Framework is the frame for the ISALplatform and provides, among other things, in thecommunication with the (SQL) databases, andcommunication with the (web) services. Theframework also gives you among others:

-Wizards for the purpose of organization and configuration of the logistics processes.-User Management-PLC logging-Designer for dashboards-Designer for reports-Management of master data such as variety’s, batches, fusts, fust templates,activities, phases, activity scheduling etc.- Alarm logging

The ISAL CTS module is responsible for the containermanagement in container garden surroundings andoffers you basic lot registration, basic varietyregistration, basic growth schemes registration,greenhouse visualization, container movements andregistration of container contents on plant or varietylevel. Furthermore it is possible to book varietyinformation automatically on to the container, basedon a selection screen and a set container position. Youcan also remove container contentsautomatically, based on a set container position ordepartment. The module offers search & filterfunctionality, visualizes a selected route, offers youPLC logging and status & error functionality. With ISALCTS you can generate automatic container tasksbased on location-full situations and/or container

content. The module contains functionality for thesupervision of growth specific activities and/oroperational activities such as watering

With the ISAL Potting module you can manageautomated potting processes in order to obtain areliable variety registration at container level. For theimplementation of this module communication withthe potting robot and the container system is required.Further the module offers you a connection to anetwork label printer for pot labels, the visualization ofthe potting process, logging functionality,status & error view and a selection screen to selectthe variety or batch that needs potting.

The ISAL Spacing module directs an automatedspacing process in order to obtain a reliable varietyregistration at container level. For the implementationof this module communication is required with the pickand place robot and the container system. Further themodule offers visualization of the spacing process,logging functionality, status & error view and aselection screen to select the variety that needsspacing.Finally the module offers an automated varietyselection based on container content of the containerthat needs emptying.

The ISAL Connector ERP provides in thecommunication between ISAL software and an ERPsystem, based upon web services (ISA’95 standard)or a direct database connection.

ISAL Tray Transport System (TTS) can be used forthe supervision of a tray delivery system. The moduleprovides import functionality in order to import orderdata from a (ERP) system, allows manual importorders, generates proposals and production plans andallows you to print the master picking list. Further themodule offers a visualization of the delivery system anda current content by container location (progress). Themodule allows you to print container loading receiptsand offers final inspection functionality on cc-car level.

ISAL Pick&Place Robot for the supervision of a pickand place robot in order to obtain a real-time containercontent administration.

ISAL Single Plant Transport System (SPTS) existsfrom several sub modules (Vision, Sorting, Staking andDelivery). It is developed for the supervision andvisualization of the different sub processes which takeplace during the growth process and at the end of thecultivation of a single plant.

ISAL Dashboards provides in displaying of systemperformance indicators. (KPI's)
