www.atlanticbusinessmagazine.com
We produce Atlantic Canada’s longest-publishing regional business magazine. Our flagship publication, Atlantic Business Magazine, was founded in 1989. It is an independently owned, bi-monthly high gloss publication that covers all areas of business within the four Atlantic provinces. Our first edition of Natural Resources Magazine was printed in 1998; today, it is well established as the region’s foremost petroleum/mining/alternative energy publication.
We have the largest circulation of any business magazine in Atlantic Canada. We publish a minimum 37,000 magazines per issue; our audited circulation is 49% larger than our closest regional competitor.
We deliver your marketing message to the most influential audience of business readers in the region. With our selective distribution, our advertising clients are guaranteed maximum exposure to Atlantic Canada’s business community, both in the office and on the road.
We are cost-effective. Each issue, we’ll deliver your marketing message to an estimated 240,000 readers in the first 30 days of publication.
Our readers are upwardly-mobile professionals with management authority and purchasing power. Almost half of our readers are under 40 years of age; 77% are 50 or younger.
We are a leader in environmentally-friendly publishing. Our printer is Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, and we use only recycled paper and vegetable-based ink.
We are the most award-winning business magazine in Atlantic Canada. Over the past 11 years, we have won 23 Atlantic Journalism Awards, nine TABBIE international business press awards and four KRW national business press awards.
Experience the unique marketing advantages of partneringwith the most respected business magazines in Atlantic Canada.
Brand power
Magazines are the number one medium of engagement — across all dimensions measured. Simmons’ Multi-Media Engagement Study found magazines continue to score significantly higher than TV or the Internet in ad receptivity and all of the other engagement dimensions, including “trustworthy” and “inspirational.”

Appearing in every edition of Atlantic Business Magazine, Off the Shelf is our insightful and entertaining book review column. Numerous readers have reported that the column has enticed them to purchase the reviewed book for themselves – but they don’t always follow through. Help them move from thought to immediate action with a QR code that links to your online sales portal! Then, double your value by booking ad space as well (full page and half page options available). The ad extends your marketing message and promotes other products you have for purchase, while the QR code enables immediate response. Contact your account representative for rate information.
How does a QR code (Quick Response code) work? Typically, a smartphone is used as a QR code scanner, displaying the code and converting it to some useful form (such as a standard URL for a website). Instead of having to type in a website address, consumers scan the code and click on the displayed URL.

Guarantee your business voice is heard, in your own words, in Atlantic Canada’s leading business magazine.
The Showcase cost of $6,400.00 provides you (the Showcase client) with a minimum two pages of exposure: this can be either a full-page four-colour advertisement ($5,250.00 value) and a full-page promotional feature OR you may choose to use the two pages as a double-page advertorial spread. This is a tremendous value: by comparison, a double-page spread costs $8,895.00.
Though you get two pages automatically when you sign the Showcase contract, the minimum size of a Showcase feature is four pages (i.e. there must be enough advertising support to increase your Showcase feature by at least two more pages). However, the size of your personal feature has the potential for unlimited expansion at no extra cost to you. The more support advertising there is for your Showcase promotional feature, the larger your story will be. Support advertising typically comes from suppliers and business associates who wish to congratulate you on your success and show their support for your endeavours.
