40 Years of Making Change for the Next GenerationLast May 7, 2015 the Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth celebrated their 40 year legacy and honour some of the nations most inspiring champions for the next generation at Bently Reserve. Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth is a member-led, multi-racial community organization working to build a city of hope, opportunity and justice for all children and families in San Francisco. They organize young people and parents in San Francisco around campaigns that establish leadership in the local community, policy and budget solutions that greatly benefit the lives of low-income households in SF and create sustainable social change in the community. They empower families to effectively support the success of their children. Colemans 40th Anniversary gala became a huge success a lot of people from the local community celebrated with them and showed their support on the advocacies of the organization. There were talented performers who set the lively mood throughout the night. Most of the guests who attended the gala did not have any transportation related hassles, thanks to Luxor cab.
