The MaxxWave 3G Broadband Router is an intelligent gateway/router that is ideal for a variety of indoor and outdoor applications. A very small form factor along with a outdoor rated NEMA 4 enclosure provides a weather tight solution that is perfect for machine to machine applications or bandwidth backup. Designed to be placed outside where signal strength is the strongest, power over ethernet allows for distances up to 328 feet away from the power source. Designed to be wall mounted, an optional pole mount adapter bracket is available. Low power consumption makes it perfect for Solar or green energy solutions.

One Device. Multiple Carriers Based on the Qualcomm embedded GOBI 2000 chipset, the software can be flashed to be used on a variety of UMTS/EVDO Rev A carriers. With the onboard quadband radio, the device can operate worldwide and includes an internal SIM slot.

Full Featured Software SetPowered by Mikrotik RouterOS — A full featured software set allows for all the standard enterprise software features typically found in high end routers. This allows you to extend the enterprise to the edge of your network securely and easily without sacrificing features. Persistent connectivity or connect on demand are just some of the many features available. By using end to end security features like IPSec, OpenVPN or PPTP you can create secure two way data exchange. MPLS and VLAN features allow you to easily integrate into legacy networks. IPIP and GRE tunnel support can connect to Cisco routers and provide OSPF/BGP endpoint routing or bridging.

Hotspot FunctionThe advanced built in Hotspot server can provide a walled garden page for users wishing to connect to the WWAN. Integrated support for a local user database as well as support for standard Radius AAA allows remote authentication and logging. Multiple SSID’s and VLAN support allow for one network to provide for guest authentication access as well as secure access at the same time. Perfect for mobile applications or applications where term’s and conditions need to be agreed on before network access is allowed.
