April 2, 2017 My friends in Christ:

PARISH LENTEN CONFESSIONS: MONDAY, APRIL 3 ( 6:30-7:30 PM )

Throughout the Lenten Season, we have heard the constant Scriptural refrain," Turn back to the Lord and do penance. Be renewed in heart and spirit.” Some people have already responded to God's invitation to come to confession and experience the mercy of Jesus and be renewed in His Grace. With Easter quickly approaching, I have invited 12 priests from surrounding parishes to join Father Jeff and myself to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for our parish community tomorrow night, Monday April 3rd from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Priests will be stationed all around the church and chapel. Please consider receiving this beautiful sacrament tomorrow evening.

RCIA classes are designed to personally welcome and encourage candidates and catechumens who are on their journey to enter the Catholic Church, as well as provide an opportunity for parishioners to learn more about their Catholic faith. Kathy Fluehr FAMILY: Joe (husband); JV (16), and Maggie (15-almost!) INTERESTS AND HOBBIES: Cooking, spending time with friends, travel, reading, playing piano, politics PARISH INVOLVEMENT: member for 19 years, Pre-Cana, Home and School Association (HSA), Girl Scout Leader, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Catholic Charities Appeal Committee WHY BEING A MEMBER OF THE SCHOOL BOARD IS IMPORTANT TO YOU? I very much believe in this school. St. Jude helped my husband and I raise our two children for 10 years. I say " helped us raise" them because it's such a team effort to bring children up in this world. They instilled the wonder and exploration of new

ideas, inspired a love of faith and community, and prepared them for life after elementary school. St. Jude allowed them to be kids and taught them how to be responsible, caring individuals. I am committed to insuring the stability and longevity of this very special place. PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISE TO LEARN: I'm actually quite quiet and shy - until I get to know you!
