Don'ttry to kill yourself, I'min the car, I snapped and he smiledlightly. The entire ride was silent. He stopped in front of a park and Iwalked in front of him, enjoying the gentle breeze.

When we sat down, I stared at my entwined fingers and he was staring atme. I looked into his eyes and was taken aback by the sincere begging inthem. He was regretting what he had done to me. The thought made me feelrelieved. I could really stop living that haunted dream.. I smiled.

I know I don'thave a right to sit in front of you, but please forgiveme he started and his voice was extremely shaky. His lips were crawledin an unpleasant smile. His eyes were dark and unemotional. But I couldhint the pain behind his impassive mask.

I forgive you, I said as I stared deep into his eyes. It was easy todo; I didn'tknow how much I wanted to tell Cole those words. Holdingthe grudge was hard for me to do and it had burdened me with its heavyweight over the years. Now as I muttered the word `I forgive you',Ifelt relieved. It was like I had waited for this exact moment.

Liana he gasped unable to trust me. His eyes studied my face for anybitterness. But no, I was really relieved and out of all the stress.

I wanted to close my past Cole, I wanted to forgive you for years, butI'ma mere human. So I couldn'tforgive you without you asking me to andwanting me to. But now when you asked for my forgiveness, I want toforgive you. It'swhat I had wanted for years Cole. That pressing loadon my heart whenever I thought about the day is not what I wanted tofeel for the rest of my life time. Trust me, I really forgive you. Isaid smoothly.

Liana, I don'tknow what to say, except you'rebeautiful, in heart andperson, never did I expect you to forgive me so easily, I wanted you to

tell me how cruel I was, I wanted you to scream, I wanted you to blameme, but you didn'tdo anything he pressed his hands over his face.

I know, I wanted to do everything you said, before, but at this instantall I want is peace. I want to live without any grudges. I'mbeingselfish Cole. I forgive you for my own peace, not the other way around,I sighed. My heart became content. It didn'tfeel that pain anymore tothink of that spring ball.

I'mreally sorry Liana, I didn'tmistake the glittering tear drop inhis eyes. I was being a monster; I didn'tthink how it'daffect you.Deep down I knew what I was doing was completely heartless, but I wantedto take my revenge on Asher. He got what was supposed to be my life, myplace, and he wrapped almost every one of my friends around his fingers.I wanted Asher to learn his lesson!

Asher? He was the reason for everything? I thought you both were friends!

We were never friends before and we will never be friends, even if Iwanted to. He hates me more than anything Cole whispered.

What did you mean he got your place?

You know, before he came into the preps, I was their golden boy, theyall adored me, but when Asher showed up, they moved around him likecrazed puppies, I hated my friends for that, and I wanted to punish Asher

And you punished me? Why? Asher hated me by that time and pushed meaway, I wasn'this friend anymore when you tried to punish him byhurting me, I snapped at him angrily.

Cole was all wrong. He didn'tknow what he was doing. Cole wanted topunish Asher and he punished me? How cruel of him? Really the malespecies have no concern and heart whatsoever.

No he didn'thate you, Cole said defiantly.

What Cole? Shouldn'tyou know that Asher hated me back then? You chosethe wrong person for the revenge and you broke my heart further intopieces by your act Cole!
